Captain Jesse Cook

Captain Jesse leaves out of Homosassa Riverside Resort and offers a variety of guided trips including inshore, back country, shallow water grouper, scalloping and snorkeling trips. Captain Jesse is a 100 ton USCG Licensed Captain as well as a Padi Dive Master, safety is his top priority while enjoying a wonderful day on the nature coast. Captain Jesse is a life long resident of Citrus County, growing up in Homosassa and has a lot of old Florida tradition and history to offer. With over 20 years of commercial fishing experience and being a member of Homosassa Guides Association, Captain Jesse knows the local waterways like the back of his hand. If you'd like not only a fun filled day on the Nature Coast, but also a lifelong local knowledge then Captain Jesse is your man!

 Captain Matt Cook, a Homosassa born and raised native based out of the Florida Cracker Riverside Resort. His passion for fishing and the outdoors came at a very young age. Being raised in a commercial fishing family by his dad Capt. “Jesse James” and his grandfather that were stone/blue crabbers, grouper and mullet fishermen. He knows our local waterways like the back of his hand and all the history/traditions that come with our unique area that is still “Old Florida”.  Capt. Matt is a 4 year Alumni of the Academy Of Environmental Science so he also has extensive knowledge of our unique ecosystem.  Capt. Matt is a U.S.C.G Licensed 25 ton captain/commercial airboat operator, Padi open water diver and a member of the Homosassa Guides Association. Safety is his top priority while enjoying a wonderful day on the nature coast. Being a true outdoorsmen he offers a wide variety of trips including back country inshore, shallow water reefs, snorkeling/scalloping, eco tours, sunset tours, springs/sand bar excursions,  gigging, duck hunting, and alligator hunts.
